Where Wildflowers Bloom is the story of Faith Lindberg who is anxious to move herself and her grandfather out West, to Oregon. As she is preparing for her new journey, the man who she wanted to spend her life with, Royal Baxter returns home from the Civil War. The problem is that she had heard that he had passed away, and starts to pursue Faith once again, complicating the matters in regards to her move. There is another gentleman that she be-friends who is crazy about Faith, and would like nothing more than to marry her. Decisions, plans, and more decisions.
Ann Shorey does a wonderful job once again, by orchestrating all the characters to make them come alive, and involving the reader in the dramatics of the book.This is the first book in the series Sisters of the Heart and I'm looking forward to reading the next book.
